PS4/PS Vita Exclusive Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory Gets First Trailer and Details Bandai Namco has launched the first video for their upcoming RPG Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017 in Japan. The video quickly shows familiar Digimon in battle along with some digivolution.

Additionally, the publisher opened the official website with details about the new entry in the Cyber Sleuth series.

The game will feature the same RPG battle system found in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and will still be a game aimed towards adults which fans seemed to enjoy in the first entry.

Hacker’s Memory will tell a new story from the point of view of a new protagonist during the events of the previous entry. However, this new protagonist is “not a hero chosen to save the world”. Based in future Tokyo, Digimon are AI-based partners for humans that are found in the digital world. During a world crisis, the player must struggle to protect their family and friends.

Players will be able to raise 320 different Digimon to take part in new quests and story missions. Since this is the world, the explorable areas may seem familiar to returning players, but 30 new maps have been added to the game, making 90 total.

Lastly, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is to be included in the first release of the PS4 version in Japan. However, it’s noted that players can enjoy the game without having played Cyber Sleuth.

Additionally, the game’s title has been Trademarked in Europe.
