Deployment Stabilised.
Battlefield Studios has released a new hotfix for Battlefield 6 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The update, version 1.3.2.1, went live on Wednesday morning and represents the first client-side patch specifically aimed at tackling the wave of issues introduced by the Season 3 mid-season update.
The latest hotfix focuses on two particularly disruptive bugs that have been frustrating players since the update launched.
The first addresses a problem affecting the deployment screen, where the cursor would unexpectedly jump around the interface, making it difficult—or in some cases impossible—for players to select their desired spawn location. Given how widespread and disruptive the issue proved to be, it was unsurprising to see Battlefield Studios prioritise a fix.
The second major correction targets the content package management system. Prior to the patch, players attempting to install or remove specific game components—such as the campaign, multiplayer package, or Redsec content—from within the game’s menus could encounter a bizarre issue that effectively transported them into a featureless black screen. Rather than completing the requested action, the game would leave users staring into an empty void.

According to Battlefield Studios, that issue has now been resolved.
While many players will undoubtedly welcome the fix for the deployment screen bug, the broader picture remains less encouraging. A significant number of problems introduced by the Season 3 update continue to affect the game, and the development team has already acknowledged several of them publicly.
Before last weekend, Battlefield Studios shared a shortlist of the most urgent issues currently under investigation. Although a couple of those concerns have now been addressed through this week’s hotfix, a number of others remain unresolved and are still being examined by the team.
As highlighted in last week’s Battlefield 6 bug roundup, the game continues to suffer from a variety of smaller but persistent technical issues scattered throughout the experience.
Some of these problems appear relatively straightforward and may be corrected in future updates without much delay. Others seem considerably more complicated.

One example is the ongoing lighting issue affecting Redsec, which developers have suggested may require additional investigation before a proper fix can be implemented. Meanwhile, players continue to report problems involving malfunctioning gadgets, inconsistent gameplay mechanics, and game modes that are not behaving as intended.
For now, Battlefield Studios appears focused on stabilising the experience one issue at a time.
The latest patch represents a positive first step following the troubled Season 3 mid-season update, but it is clear that more work remains ahead. Players can at least take some comfort in knowing that two of the update’s most visible and frustrating bugs have now been eliminated, even if the wider list of technical concerns is far from complete.

With several high-priority issues still under active investigation, Battlefield 6’s next few updates are likely to be just as important as this week’s hotfix in restoring confidence among the player base.
