Big Dock Energy.
Alongside today’s reveal of the official cover artwork for Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar has also quietly provided what may be the most detailed overview of Vice City we’ve seen so far.
This fresh glimpse of the franchise’s fictional take on Miami arrives via the newly updated GTA 6 website. As part of the redesign, Rockstar has added a dynamic panoramic sequence that unfolds as visitors scroll through the page, offering a sweeping view across the sprawling cityscape.
Bathed in the warm pink and orange glow of a setting sun, Vice City looks more vibrant than ever. As the camera slowly pans across the skyline, helicopters can be seen crossing overhead, boats move through the harbour, cranes dominate the docks, and activity appears to be taking place across every visible district. In the distance, a brightly illuminated ferris wheel stands out against the evening skyline, adding even more life to the coastal setting.

One particularly intriguing detail appears near the end of the sequence. In the lower-right corner of the final shot sits a floodlit tennis court where two figures appear to be meeting beneath the lights.
Whether they’re preparing for a friendly game of tennis or arranging something considerably less innocent remains open to interpretation. Given Vice City’s long-standing reputation for crime, corruption, and questionable life choices, either possibility seems equally plausible.
While the footage itself is relatively brief, it offers a compelling indication of the scale and density Rockstar is aiming for with GTA 6’s open world. Every section of the city appears packed with detail, from towering skyscrapers and illuminated billboards to bustling waterfront districts and industrial docklands.
More importantly, the environment feels alive.
Even in this short preview, there is a constant sense of movement. Vehicles, aircraft, boats, lighting effects, and environmental activity combine to create the impression of a city that continues functioning regardless of whether the player is present.
The sequence also fuels further speculation about potential activities available within the game. The appearance of the tennis court has already prompted some fans to wonder whether Rockstar could reintroduce sports mini-games or similar side activities.
It certainly wouldn’t be unprecedented. After all, Rockstar once dedicated an entire game to table tennis, proving the studio has never been afraid to invest surprising amounts of effort into recreational side content.
After several delays, Grand Theft Auto 6 is now scheduled to launch on 19th November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar also confirmed today that pre-orders will officially open on 25th June, coinciding with the reveal of the game’s box art and broader marketing push.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Games continues to face legal challenges in the United Kingdom.

The company remains involved in an ongoing dispute with the Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain (IWGB), which accused the studio last November of carrying out what it described as one of the most aggressive examples of union busting seen in the video game industry after approximately 30 employees were dismissed.
The case remains active, and yesterday an employment tribunal rejected Rockstar’s attempt to have allegations relating to blacklisting removed from the proceedings.
The dispute is currently scheduled to proceed to trial on 10th September.
As anticipation for GTA 6 continues to build, Rockstar finds itself balancing excitement surrounding one of the most anticipated video game releases in history with increasing scrutiny away from the screen. For now, however, fans have another detailed glimpse of Vice City to analyse—and plenty of new reasons to speculate about what awaits when the game finally arrives later this year.
