The game will be a “heroic RPG” set at Hoshinomiya Girls High School in modern day Japan, with themes of communication and connections between people. Gust began streaming a “concept image” video in October.

The story begins when Hinako meets Yuzuki and Raimu, who give her the power to transform into a magical girl known as a Reflector. In this form, she can move freely, and fights to achieve her dream of one day healing her foot injury so she can practice ballet again. In the Reflector form, Hinako gains blonde hair and heterochromatic eyes. Without knowing the reason why Yuzuki and Raimu ask her to fight, or whom she is fighting, Hinako takes on the task of being a magical girl for her one wish. However, as the game progresses, Hinako will begin to question the purpose of her battles and what she is fighting.
