A.W. Phoenix FestaLaunches Today on PlayStation Vita Leading anime video game publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has released A.W. Phoenix Festa today in Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Australasia. The game is now available through digital only on the PlayStation Vita hand-held system via PlayStation Network. Based on the light novel The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water, the manga and anime series A.W. Phoenix Festa mixes dating sim mechanics and combat in one game and features its own original storyline. In a post-apocalyptic 20th century, the Integrated Enterprise Foundation is formed to recover from devastation. Cities are reorganized including one called Rikka, also known as Asterisk. Within Asterisk, six academies hold tournaments called “Festas” pitting students from each academy against each other. In this brand-new story, take on the role of Ayato Amagiri, a Seidoukan Academy’s student, or create your own original character. Between daily school life, training and participation in the Phoenix Festa Tournament, players will meet different NPCs, make friends and even find love. Experience a challenging adventure with many choices to make, numerous endings and multiple outcomes.
